The Velvet Apple
Serves four
Ingredients
- 150ml Edwards English Potato Vodka
- 750ml Cloudy Apple Juice
- 100ml Dark Spiced Rum
- 1 Star Anise
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 3 Cloves
- A Teaspoon of Ground Ginger
- Garnish: 1 Apple – cut into half moons & 4 Star
- Anise (1 per glass)
Equipment
- 4 x Copper Goblets with Handles
- Glass Cups with handles Saucepan with Lid Large Stirring Spoon Jigger
Method
- Pour the apple juice into the saucepan and add the dried spices.
- Put the lid on. On low heat, gently bring the liquid to the boil.
- Once it boils, turn off the heat and add the vodka and rum. Gently stir and leave for 5 minutes.
- Serve. Decorate with a half-moon of apple and a star anise in each serving.
